STORY TIME...Living on Purpose is the program that saved my life.
EVERTHING THAT I TEACH IS WHAT HELPED ME GET OUT OF A STATE OF HELPLESNESS.
I used to live as the victim of my circumstances. Life felt like it was just happening to me, and I was constantly bracing myself for the next bad thing.
One day I realized I was playing the victim. I saw that my whole life is actually my own creation, that there are laws of the universe and ways to work with the subconscious mind that help you to create what you want in life.
The turning point came when I was literally living in the ghetto. In the year before that, my boyfriend had a freak accident that made us move halfway across the country (he survived & it's a story for another time), I got into a car accident that put me on my ass for almost a year while living in my grandma’s basement, and then I finally got my own place where I was terrified to walk to my car, and helicopters were regularly circling overhead.
I was having an EFT session with a dear friend and suddenly the look on his face was horrified. He was like “do you think you’re playing the victim?!?”
I realized “Whoa, I am the common denominator in all of this, I am expecting bad things to happen, so they are happening.”
From there, I began the journey of learning what manifestation actually is.
Before that, the whole mantras and writing things down and “acting as if” wasn’t working for me.
I didn't understand that “acting as if” meant that you have to go out and completely recreate your belief system and become the type of person that behaves in evolved ways, who uses feelings as a compass and director to show you how to have a richer experience in life.
I learned how to face my fears with love and curiosity. Through this, I brought myself to wholeness. I saw how when I was pushing down all the negative feelings, I was also pushing down my joy.
I learned the greatest lesson of all: you cannot access joy if you're not willing to access pain.
You have to be able to feel ALL of it.
The truth is, when you learn how to ACTUALLY face these hard feelings, when you learn how to communicate with your ego and your highest self, and can discern which part of you is speaking, you get to alchemize those hard feelings at light speed.
That’s why in LOP, I teach about the ego. I teach about the mind. I teach about consciousness and the subconscious mind, trauma responses to life, how to regulate the nervous system and actually standing up for your dreams rather than against them.
